Kia Ora, I’m Gayle Moana-Johnson

I’m a solo mama of three who is a mindset decoloniser.

I’ve walked through some really hard yards, spaces filled with violence, addiction, and the weight of generational trauma. I know what it’s like to grow up in a home where mental health struggles and addiction were part of daily life. Both of my parents battled with their own demons, and I felt that ripple in every aspect of my childhood. I grew up in spaces where violence was normal, and I became a product of it, too. Sometimes feeling like I was drowning.

I know struggle deeply. I’ve been trapped in toxic spaces, battling inner demons, and carrying shame in silence. Becoming a mother at 15 and 17 forced me to face my self-worth. I had to break free, not just for me, but for my kids.

When I chose to stop drinking and leave unhealthy environments, that was my first step toward reclaiming my power. From there, I knew I had to change, starting with choosing myself.

I understand the pressure and overwhelm, but it doesn’t have to be that way. You can break free from self-doubt and trauma. I’m here to help you reclaim your mana and rewrite your story.
